Welcome to the Russell Lea Public School Cookbook Project!

We’re excited to invite all families and members of the Russell Lea Public School community to be part of something truly special—our very own school cookbook!

Our goal is to showcase a delicious collection of family-favourite recipes, with each Russell Lea family contributing one cherished dish. Whether it’s a weeknight staple, a festive favourite, or a treasured family tradition, we’d love to share it with our community.

If we receive multiple versions of a popular recipe, we may reach out via email to request an alternative—just to keep things fresh and diverse. Each contributing family’s name will be proudly featured in the cookbook.

In the description box, we’d love to hear the story behind your recipe. Did it come from a favourite cookbook or food writer? Or is it a special creation passed down through generations in your family? Let us know where your inspiration came from—it’s the stories that make this book truly meaningful.

Please note: your email address will not be published. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the P&C at russell.lea.public.pc@gmail.com

.

Recipes are due by 4th July 2025—we can’t wait to see (and taste!) what you’ll share.

Let’s cook up something amazing, together!

Sponsorship and advertising

Are you a local business and you would like a lasting legacy in the Russell Lea Community?

There will be opportunities to advertise within the cookbook. It will also be sold at the Russell Lea Public School Fete on Sunday the 9th of November 2025 - so you will reach a wider audience.

If you are interested in advertising, please send an email to the P&C at russell.lea.public.pc@gmail.com

Note: Businesses that have supported the school, donate an item for the fete or sponsor the fete will be given priority space.

Cookbook design will close in August 2025.
